One crazy dude over at www.Blu-ray.com bought 33 copies of LBP at Walmart! He plans to sell on ebay. $1980 not including taxes! Absolutely crazy ass mofo. By the time he sells a few, the game will already be out on the 27th. There's already competition on ebay of people selling this game...including me.

I read on a game forum, that some folks picked up their copy at Walmart, most of them were selling LBP right on the original release date 10/21/08. I called my local Walmart at 1:15am and sure nuff, dude said he's got them in the back. So I went shopping, picked up some Jack Links Beef Jerky and other stuff and went to the Electronics dept and got me a LBP copy.

Looks like most Walmart stores are not delaying the game for some reason. Though, the website shows a new release date of 11/11/08.

Just a coincidence, my son said yesterday he miss playing LBP (the online beta we had earlier which has been expired). When he wakes up at 7:45am today, he'll have a surprise.

Just a note, my NewEgg copy will arrive Wednesday. I'll have to sell that on Ebay for of course a higher price.

NewEgg knew about the recall but yet they are still shipping out orders of the game. I ordered late Friday the 17th and today (Sunday) have received the tracking number.

Most Blockbuster will have the game out on the 21st for rent and for sale. Get there early for obtain a copy. Some have already started selling them.

October 28th! Originally dated for Oct 21st. Reason for this is the soundtrack in the game contain offensive language to some Muslims. This resulted in a worldwide recall of the game which most retailers already have in stock. What a big waste of time and money, they could of just released a patch to block out the soundtrack. Now this cost Sony a great deal of money...and time wasted for eager gamers.

"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an," admitted the company in a statement.

"We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused."

Some people managed to have the game already by finding local mom and pops shop who sold it early. Lucky you. For most of us, we have to wait an additional week.

Well, finally got a key to try out the game. Thanks to the official LBP site, who said the first 1000 comments in their post gets a code. I was well over the 1000 mark but somehow they supplied me with one anyways. My son loves the game...he really likes creating his own levels rather than playing pre-made ones or user created ones. I find that online playing with others tend to freeze the game, so playing on your own is best for now til they fix the problem. The game is 4 player capable at the same time in a level, whether online or locally. It's an amazing game, definitely pre-ordering it. Game release Oct. 21.
